Freedom Necklace

The trick here is to always remember that you’re free.

Regardless of what movies, books, and street folk say, you don’t experience freedom 24/7 once you’ve liberated yourself of certain constraints. But it is something you enjoy in fragments. Because, you see, freedom is a state of mind that you can feel on your skin and smell, taste, and see.

And, indeed, you are already free. You just have to constantly remind yourself of that.

Recognize the one thing that helps you feel free. Write it on a piece of (waterproof) paper. Lock the piece of paper inside the necklace. And whenever you feel stuck, use this necklace to refresh your memory.
